Nokia N8 Holds Its Own At Photo Shoot

Now for those who don't know, the N8 is the flagship device produced by Finnish company, Nokia. For a long time Nokia has been known for their camera capabilities on their mobile devices. The N90 and N95 are just two of the phone in Nokia's high end N-series, joined recently by the N8, that boast high end features like Carl Zeiss lens and Xenon flash. Using the capabilities of the N8 these guys were able to pull off an official photo shoot for PIX magazine with really good results. I'm actually impressed considering the N8 has a poor screen quality (in my humble opinion) for a high end device. Check the source for more info....

Evelyn Grace Academy

This is a school built in Brixton, south London. It was designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and they have produced a really attractive building that "zig zags" across the site and seamlessly integrates a running track and play fields neatly in an around the structure. Don't you wish you were a kid again to have the opportunity to attend this amazing school? I know I do. Check the source for more details.

Awesome Devon Works Tread 1 Watch

This is one uber cool watch...i must have it. *drool* I personally love watches, especially since it's the only jewelry I wear, and this watch is definitely in my top 5. I love its very industrial design and its clever belt mechanism that it uses to keep time. I must say, not everyone will like the look an feel of this watch but I really appreciate its cleverness that it presents. Unfortunately, all that pizazz doesn't come cheap, so expect to cough up $15,000 for this bad boy (that's a lot of coughing). Check out the source after the break for more details.

Wow....That's A Tiny House

All i have to say is that is one tiny house...omg...100sq/ft.....thats ridiculous. I don't think i could survive in those spaces. I mean, i understand where he is coming from when he talks about wasted space in a larger house but there is small and then there is just too small. Amazing Photos........From A Phone???

After seeing some of these shots I had to make mention of them on my blog. These are some photos taken using the built-in cameras on a phone by everyday people.  No fancy camera, no fancy lens, just great imagination. Its amazing what is possible with the lens currently available on mobile phones. I only posted a few shots here but you can immerse yourself in all 395 shots over at the source after the break.

Nikon D3S Review....I Want One

My jaw is still on the floor after checking this thing out. It is a monster. Other that supporting a 12.1 MP full frame sensor and the ability to shoot video at 720p, it is capable of shooting at an outrageous ISO of 12,800. OMG!!! I mean seriously, if you are looking for a camera capable of shoot in extreme, an I mean EXTREME, low light situations and still get well lit, crystal clear images this DSLR is for you. Oh yeah just as and FYI, it cost a small fortune. $5200 USD to be exact. Check the source for the full review.

Google Page Background Image....Now Available

Well guys, Google has finally done it. They have copied Bing's background picture idea on their homepage. This is so funny, Google emulating Bing?! Google, i didn't think you all were like that. At lease they improved on the concept and has given us the option to add our own image. Then again, for all I know, this may be an extension of some other Google service. Either way I like and have already changed my background pic (image above). It is also a nice touch for those of us (like me) that have Google as our home page.

Try it yourself by going to Google and look for "change background image" in the bottom left corner. The link seems to only appear on the normal Google home page, not the country specific ones. Check the link for more details.

Watta Hole......

I'm sure you are asking the question, is that even real? It just looks like a photoshopped image doesn't it? Well guess what, it's not. It totally real. Its a sink hole at a intersection in Guatemala. Lucky no one was reportedly hurt even though they say an entire 3 storey building disappeared into the sink hole. WTH! That thing just looks frightening. Check out some more hi res pics and details at the source.

A DSLR Concept That Allows You To Keep Your Nose

This concept from Spain was designed to fix that annoying feeling of pressing your face against the LCD screen when looking through the viewfinder. I'm not sure how it would change the feel of the camera in your hands but it is definitely a step in the right direction (and it does look kinda cool). I hope this catches on with all DSLR manufacturers quickly. Follow the link for more information.
