Amazing Animated Water Fountain

I have never seen anything like this before. A water fountain, in Osaka Station, Japan, that can actually display "images" and display the time. It's simply amazing. Click the link for more information.

Knock Clock

Knock Clock from Giorgio Uboldi /// TRUO on Vimeo.

The Knock Clock. I'm not completely sure of the practicality of this device but I have to admit, it's pretty cool. A clock that tells the time by knocks. I just love the simplicity of its design and function but it's definitely not for the fast pace lifestyle we live in our modern society, or is it? Follow the link for more info.

MassMotion, Advance Crowd Simulation Software

Oasys has developed the worlds most advance crowd simulator, MassMotion. It is able to simulate, analyse and visualise how people will move through a spaces. This is definitely a helpful tool for architects and city planners as it would help foresee any problems such as bottle necks and high traffic areas that would hinder the smooth flow of people through spaces. I also find the high quality 3d rendered visualisation to be quite a good addition, as this would allow persons that may not necessarily know what they are looking at to get a visual sense of the information. Nokia N8 Holds Its Own At Photo Shoot

Now for those who don't know, the N8 is the flagship device produced by Finnish company, Nokia. For a long time Nokia has been known for their camera capabilities on their mobile devices. The N90 and N95 are just two of the phone in Nokia's high end N-series, joined recently by the N8, that boast high end features like Carl Zeiss lens and Xenon flash. Using the capabilities of the N8 these guys were able to pull off an official photo shoot for PIX magazine with really good results. I'm actually impressed considering the N8 has a poor screen quality (in my humble opinion) for a high end device. Check the source for more info....
